Musical beds

Saturday night, after a full day in Salt Lake City, and an evening of perusing the chic and cheap at Ikea, we arrived home to put our children and ourselves to bed. Callan went to sleep on his bed, Nolan in his crib, Melissa in our bed, and I fell asleep reading on the couch. Around 2am Nolan woke up, which woke Melissa up, who woke me up. We all ended up in our bed. Shortly thereafter Callan woke up and climbed into bed with us too. However that didn't last very long, as all four of us cannot fit in one queen sized bed very well. I put Callan back in his bed, but he didn't want to sleep alone so I laid down next to him and we both fell asleep. I woke up a little later and went back into our room, got Nolan, put him in his crib, and went to sleep back in my bed next to Melissa. Then, Nolan woke up again and I retrieved him and put him in our bed with us, and finally, we all went to sleep. Nolan's crib was the only bed that wasn't overused, and we all slept in until 7:55am (If you think thats early, you obviously don't have small children).

7:55 am?! You lucky dogs! Serious, because I have small child(ren).

Absolutely. Doesn't matter what time Kyah goes to bed, she usually comes wandering in to wake me up at 6:30. 7:55 would be a dream come true!

Does Nolan usually wake up twice during the night, or was this a fluke? I don't think I could handle it if my children still woke up in the night at 7 months!
